I was curious if anyone knew the link that would have you able to look up any post with a specified key word of your choosing. A 4chan archive if you will, however I'm not referring to Suptg, the boards catered to /tg/, /a/, and /co/, mainly used it for /tg/.

IF anyone knows that would be appreciated, thanks.

So, I've been thinking about how the majority of /tg/ doesn't utilize tgchan / quest.lv here. Which is a shame, because alot of stuff that DOES relate to the board can be talked about and posted here, even if it breaks the 'worksafe' rules of standard /tg/. Also, various things could be done in a more organized and paced manner here, without the need for a bump every 4 hours.

So, fa/tg/uys and ca/tg/irls who haven't come this way til now, why not? Resident posters who have been here forever, anything you'd like to say to new folk coming in?

Where does everyone want to see things go for /tg/ and tgchan?

Say, would you say there is any need for, say, a background drawfag? As in a drawfag that [attempts] to draw good backgrounds useable for establishing scenery in a game.

I can do characters, but I usually don't feel inspired enough, or motivated enough otherwise, to do them.

There are certainly quest authors who hate drawing backgrounds. I don't know how practical collaboration on something that's a strictly ad-hoc when-you-feel-like-it unpaid hobby thing works, though.

Dear tgchaners Christmas is almost upon us and in that time of year we all get to exchange each-other presents. Here is the general jist of how this will work.

-Someone on the thread will request a game they want to be gifted.
-The other person will offer a gift and in exchange ask for something in return that is of equal value.
-Both are happy and everyone is playing the game they want for Christmas.

General tips
- Please insure that you are on steam at the time or in contact with each-other over irc to ensure a easier time with gifiting.
- If you want to gift someone and you don't want anything in return then say so.
- This is not a beging thread so try to remember even in Christmas time we a lot of us don't have much to offer.

Enjoy yourselfs and Merry Christmas

Too bad really. It could have been fun~

See, the problem with this is requesting a gift and then giving something, also specifically requested and thus known beforehand, of equal value. It's much easier to just buy the game for yourself at that point.

What is that? Plaster or concrete? In my professional opinion, rip the whole wall down.

Just gonna stay home and steel myself for the inevitable awkward family get togethers. I think this year my girlfriends' parents should be incredibly less awkward than my own, so I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

My office Xmas party is on Dec. 18, fun drunken times. I work at a radio station and we're all poor, so the boss buys all the booze and we get loaded.

From what I could tell:
Brick wall|concrete|plaster(flaking)|paint
Brick wall|concrete|plaster(flaking)|paper|paint
Brick wall|concrete|paint
Depending on which part of the wall you looked at.
There was some mould under the plaster too.
>>10988
Probably the best option, which also goes for two of the other walls of the room (a redundant chimney, and a window that ends about half a meter under the height of the countertop, with the counter butted and glued to the window). Such is the case with houses built a century and a half ago and 'renovated' multiple times by window-licking morons.

But being On the Cheap, the solution was instead CHIP AWAY WITH A SCRAPER LIKE THE FIST OF THE NORTHSTAR, some fresh plaster, lining paper, a good coat of paint and copious quantities of whiskey to forget about what lurks behind the rest of the wall.
>>
No. 11051 ID: 754124
>>11036
Sounds like you done good enough on that wall. But you shouldn't forget about the other ones. Get that shit done! Otherwise the denizens of your plaster may achieve sentience and destroy you, or at the very least, serve as a persistent hazard to your respiratory health.
>>
No. 11056 ID: a41aaf

Nah, luckily the mould was long dead. It was likely due to leakage from the (long disconnected) lead water tank in the ceiling. Which means the beams were probably water damaged at some point, but I'm hoping that not looking at them will allow them to continue to hold up given how they've survived thus far. Couldn't afford to replace the roof if I wanted to, so it's pretty much moot.

Hallo, friends. I would like to ask how to make something similar to this, to help me visualize how I'm setting up my mooks in Rogue Trader. Would it require photoshop? Or could it be done in, say, Paint.net? Either way, how would I go about making something like this? I've practically no experience in either of these things.

Yeah, I'm using Inkscape and it seems like exactly what I want, though I don't know how to do a bunch of stuff. Like on the arrows, in the OP pic it's kind of cut out, and that's neat, and means I don't have to recolor it each time. Not sure how to do that, so I've just used black. I also don't know how to make that sort of background.

Here's what I've got so far, for the riflemen circles. Looking at the OP, I might have to redo the arrow.

I've got two sets, One with a blockier feel and one that's more rough and drawn. Not quite sure which is better.

From Left to right, top row, Rifleman, Medic, Automatic Rifleman (Assault Stubber. Or maybe just a heavy stubber), Fireteam leader, Sniper, What's going to be a blockier flamer dude, Demolitions or grenade launcher or something, and what's going to be an alternate demolitions.

The furthest right is supposed to have a shadow effect but it doesn't save into pngs I guess.
