In a move of extraordinary skill/clumsiness, the guard manages to parry the incoming bolt.

In doing so, he gashes open his own throat and dies instantaneously.

Oh lawdy.

I don't think it could have killed him instantly though, he probably just passed out from the pain. A slit throat generally doesn't kill you until you drown in your own blood, which can take a couple minutes.

A complete severing of the artery leading from the heart to the head will stop bloodflow to the brain causing death in about 10 seconds. It's somewhere around that figure.

Before me, Iniziare Citta burns.

The town I spent years of my life in. The town that took me in when my Kingdom threw me out. When the world wanted me dead, this town sheltered me, raised me, prepared me for the journey ahead.
The one place that truly knew my humanity.
I knew these people. I knew this town.

I did not mean to raze it to the ground.
That was not my intention.

Incidentally, there's no one left to instill fear in... seeing that they're all dead.

Well, maybe they weren't worth having around anyway. Seems like they all disliked you. Hard to believe that they helped raised you here... perhaps that's one reason why you harbor so much hate?

True, but it seemed like it was such a huge chain reaction that seeing how one guy accidentally killed himself, Lisella burned alive, and how the priest died it didn't really seem much of a stretch of imagination to think that mostly everyone, if not everyone ended up dying in horrible ways. But I admit I could be wrong.
>>
No. 87478 ID: 3ccb64

Well we already know they didn't all die, since there are survivor camps that end up being established on the outskirts of town, and then there are other survivors like Sticks and the farmers by the windmill.

Well, he is trying to be the devil. I think he's on his way. Also, I know that herbalist is a hunter and stuff but you might want to hire a cook to make you great foods that are tasty and good for you.

Iniziare Citta= Start City

Interesting... As it is/was quite apparently the start of a great many things.

As for him being the Devil, well I suppose petty spite and impotent rage is quite appropriate in such a case. Indeed, it is interesting to note that he would never get anywhere were it not for the invisible (yet sometimes quite auditory) hands of fate guiding him to this path's inevitable conclusion.

I simply question at times if this is the path he should remain on, if this is the role he is most suited to play.

It is not. Muschio does a pretty bad job at being evil.

But that's what makes this so fun.
